The Idea of Dream Home Designs was born when many of our valued customers shared their personal experiences about how their hard earned money got wasted while building residences because nobody could guide them with appropriate designs at the appropriate time.

1. Who are we? Architects, Civil Engineers or Interior designers?
We are a team of Architects, Civil Engineers and Interior designers with an intent to ensure fulfillment of your needs.
2. At what point in my project should I involve an architect ?
As soon as you start planning to build a house (i.e at the earliest possible stage) , you should start looking for an
architectural consultancy. Architects provide important pre-design services including site evaluation and can help you
explore options which you might not have considered. Involving an architect early in the process can help avoid costly
missteps and increase the likelihood of your satisfaction with the project
3. Don't Architects add to the substantial cost of a project ?
While it's true that an architect's fee is an additional project cost , hiring an architect can actually save your money in many ways. Architects can monitor your budget and negotiate to get the best material and workmanship at a good price. An architect's design can reduce energy and maintenance costs by providing an efficient layout which ensures you don’t overbuild anything. They spend time in planning and developing your ideas to avoid changes once construction is underway.
4. Can we suggest changes in the design once the First Concept Design is shared with us?
Yes. You can ask us to amend the design after the First Concept Design is sent to you. It is quite common for a client to realize the need of minor alterations after the First Concept Design is created. In addition to that, we do two to three rounds of changes (depending on the type of service you opt for) in the floor plan drawings at the initial stages of design development.
5. What information do we need to share with you before the initiation of the design
process ?
You will be required to fill a questionnaire that aims to gather necessary information regarding the project. Some of the questions include : size of the plot, size of the required building, information about the family members, number of floors required, photos and drawings of the plot and information about the structures in vicinity. In case of projects like Renovation and Interior designing, the process is quite subjective and depends on the needs and design choices of the client. Kindly contact us for further details.
